The Southern Oregon Chapter of ASSE wants to provide opportunities to those wishing to attend the conference, but unable to afford the registration fees. A limited number of scholarships will be available.

Q: Is our ASSE chapter sending a delegate to this year’s national conference in San Antonio, Texas? A: Yes. Chapter President Bob Calkins will be attending the convention as well as representing us at the House of Delegates. We look forward to a report from him about “hot topics” and new developments in safety at the national and international levels.
Q: I heard that the dates for our Southern Oregon safety and health conference are slightly different this year. Is that true? A: Yes, explains Conference Chair Debra Curran. Mark your calendars: the conference will be held Wednesday, October 21, and Thursday, October, 22, 2009. The Professional Development Day has been changed from Friday to Tuesday, October 20. You can attend two or three full days, or all or part of one day. As usual, our venue will be the Smullin Center in Medford.
